Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

Directed by the RSM to support the achievement of targets and cost controls as defined within the regional budget:

  • Regional lead targets
  • Volume sales by product
  • Finance sales
  • Headcount/establishment targets (Marketing & Reps)
  • Rep producer targets

Key Accountabilities

  • To undertake specific tasks as directed by the Regional Sales Manager and work alongside the regional team to develop and grow profitable sales for all Company products within the sales region

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • To support the RSM to ensure delivery of regional sales/other targets working as directed on a day to day basis by the RSM
  • To ensure regular contact and assist Area Sales Leaders, Footcan Team Leaders and Telecan Managers as directed by the RSM
  • To attend weekly regional sales and marketing meetings and any other meetings as requested by the RSM
  • To support the RSM with recruitment, initial/ongoing training and retention activities for proactive marketing and sales as required
  • To ensure all regional personnel (employed and self employed) are using current approved documentation including all contracts and recruitment, sales and marketing and training literature
  • To regularly report on/update the RSM on marketing and sales performance and other issues relating to the region and to take any action as directed by the RSM
  • To work alongside Footcan Team Leaders and Telecan Managers providing support to achieve lead targets as directed by the RSM
  • To support the RSM to ensure that all leads are confirmed to Company standards
  • To support the RSM to ensure and that all customer data held fully complies with Company standards
  • To undertake joint sits with sales representatives and train/coach/support them as directed by the RSM
  • To support the regional administration team as directed by the RSM
  • To promote a safe working environment in respect of staff, customers and self employed individuals and to liaise with the Retail Health & Safety Manager on all matters relating to health and safety and risk assessment as directed by the RSM
  • Abide by all statutory requirements including those relating to health and safety
  • Understand and fulfil your responsibilities under the Company’s equal opportunities policy in place from time to time
  • Adhere to and promote all company policies and procedures in place from time to time including those relating to HR and health and safety
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the RSM
ESSENTIAL DESIRABLE
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Good level of literacy and numeracy
  • Minimum 5 GCSE’s/O Levels inc Maths & English
  • EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE
  • Business and commercial acumen
  • Background in a direct sales environment
  • Home improvement sector background
  • Recruitment and training background in a direct sales environment
  • Experience of proactive marketing (footcan and/or telecan)
  • SKILLS
  • Team player with excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Presentation skills including Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Good general IT skills
  • Report writing skills
