Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure the installation teams employ best practice in carrying out their duties.
  • Ensure safe practices at all times.
  • To ensure costs under their direct control are within the required budgets.
  • To ensure work completed by the installation teams is to the required quality, level of service and health & safety.
  • Ensure appearance and behaviour of Installation teams is compliant with company policy and best customer service practice.
  • Ensure condition of each Van used by the installation teams under their control complies with company policies

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • To visit and inspect all installations, focusing on installers generating ‘I’ calls
      o To ensure that all products are fitted to the defined Anglian standards. o To complete regular monitors for every installation team. o Meet & greet - scope of works clarification (CP) o To complete 3 stage check for all conservatory bases (CP) o To ensure lessons from installation work are shared with all teams o To organise training o To ensure that any possible repairs to the product are carried out prior to authorising any remakes o To handle and resolve customer questions & assigned complaints promptly. o To ensure all work is completed in compliance with local authority requirements; statutory requirements; Company policies & procedures; Health and Safety requirements.
  • To ensure clean corporate work wear worn by all installation teams
  • Ensure show-home boards are installed in prominent position in every installation.
  • Arranging for balances, debts and stage payments to be collected
      o To personally visit every customer who does not pay the full balance within 24 hrs / 1 working day. o To manage debt recovery, negotiating with the customer as required. o To keep customer fully informed to ensure customer fully satisfied with installation schedule, process and final quality. o To ensure stage and final payments collected strictly in accordance with Policy and terms and conditions of the contract.
  • To personally contact all customer with an ‘I’ call, WNR or complaint within 24hrs / 1 working day.
      o To debrief installers after every ‘I’ call resulting from sub-standard workmanship o Managing remedial works
  • Ensure self employed Installers unload, load & transport product in accordance with company guidelines and policy.
  • To ensure all tenders and payments are issued in strict compliance with company guidelines and policy.
      o Signing off tender sheets o Agree retentions for incomplete works
  • To source and engage new installers & allied trades and ensure induction and all other records are kept updated in compliance with Anglian standards, procedures & paperwork.

ESSENTIAL DESIRABLE
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Maths & English at GCSE level C and above
  • A recognized business qualification - ie GNVQ
  • EXPERIENCE
  • Experience of managing via KPI’s
  • Installation in the window and door industry
  • KNOWLEDGE
  • Background of the home improvement industry
  • Health & Safety requirements in the home improvement industry
  • Recruitment of installers (self employed)
  • SKILLS
  • Numerate and literate, able to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats
  • Management and team building skills
  • PC literate - Microsoft packages
  • Ability to overcome objections
