- Effective management and security of the warehouse by ordering, receiving, controlling and issuing of products/materials to fitters and engineers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- To manage and order with budget on a weekly basis all stores, parmacell, building content of all contracts bulked or delivered.
- To check deliveries of stores and notifying central stores of any shortages and arrange for outstanding items to be delivered.
- To check that bulk loads deliveries are complete and notify Installation Manager and Head Office of any missing off loads within 24 hours.
- To monitor all store levels and all stock. Maintaining stores, warehouse and yard in a clean and efficient condition.
- To store products in job lots.
- To prepare and issue to installers and service engineers materials needed to complete each job.
- Ensure all activities within their accountability meet and integrate with Company requirements for quality management, Health and Safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and a general duty of care.
- Abide by all statutory requirements including those relating to Health and Safety.
- Understand and fulfil your responsibility under the Company’s Equal Opportunities policy in place from time to time.
- Adhere to and promote all company policies and procedures in place from time to time including those relating to HR and Health and Safety.
